Stone Cleaning
Stone Cleaning
Stonework must be cleaned in a very particular, meticulous way if all of its dirt is to be removed, while assuring the best possible condition of the stone itself. Before any cleaning takes place, we will assess what type of stone it is and so which cleaning method will work best.
ThermaTech Cleaning
We use ThermaTech cleaning equipment, which is specially designed for use in stone cleaning and restoration. Producing a liquid spray of 150ۣ°C, this technology makes removing paint, dirt and other matter from your stonework an easy process. This ultra safe technique only affects the matter and debris on the surface, and is exceptionally efficient at revealing the true colour of the material underneath – leaving it clean and clear for a long time to come.
VorTech Cleaning
We use a number of specialist equipment to clean and restore stone. We use VorTech on surfaces that are on the more fragile side. VorTech creates a swirling vortex and combines low air pressure, little water and a safe inert fine granulate.
Doff Cleaning
Doff cleaning is a gentle process of cleaning stone using steam. Pressure and temperature are kept high at the nozzle end and this is adjusted during cleaning. ... It, therefore, works on concrete surfaces without causing any thermal shock, saturation or damage to stone as you clean.
Tensid’s TORIK NEBULOUS
Creates a micro-fine mist of water that gently cleans sensitive stone surfaces, removing; grime, pollutants and many other types of water-soluble soiling. Articulated nozzles ensure that the mist is directed exactly where it is needed.
Brick Cleaning
A mild organic acid cleaning compound, neutralises and brightens surfaces that have been prewashed with 766 Limestone and Masonry Prewash. When used properly, this two part cleaning system removes heavy carbon dirt and other atmospheric stains from porous limestone, concrete and most other porous masonry surfaces. 766 Limestone and Masonry Prewash and Limestone and Masonry Afterwash will not damage most masonry surfaces.
